Below you will find an overview of our learning path for the first year Ritz-Carlton Lady or Gentleman, followed by a lifetime of learning opportunities for both management and non-management employees.

Learn about Year One

1. New Employee Orientation

welcomes Ladies and Gentlemen to The Ritz-Carlton, and shares our culture and philosophy. It provides a foundation that ensures all employees are set up for success.

2. Operational Certification

partners new Ladies and Gentleman with a Learning Coach in their department who demonstrates and encourages the skills and standards necessary to succeed in their role.

3. The Three Steps of Service

training program enables individuals to master The Ritz-Carlton approach to service in any circumstance. Communication skills, problem resolution techniques, and even internal relationships are discussed and practiced over the course of six separate training modules.

4. Day 21

is a follow-up workshop to New Employee Orientation. This workshop is designed to ensure employee engagement and success at the start of the journey with The Ritz-Carlton.

5. Day 365

celebrates the first year anniversary with The Ritz-Carlton, and is an opportunity to re-visit our Gold Standards and culture.
